My name is Kaitlynn Smith, and I am a graduate student at the University of Mary Washington. I am working towards my Master's in Elementary Education. My teaching experience includes substitute teaching for Spotsylvania County Public Schools and working at the YMCA as the summer camp STEM teacher. My research interests include how socioeconomic status affects education at the elementary level.
I look forward to having my own classroom soon, and I hope to one day work as a teacher in a Title I school in Virginia.
